From the very first leaflet to their most recent awareness campaign, my collaboration with Asbestos Fighters Environmental (AF) has been one of trust, evolution, and creative purpose.
When AF first got in touch, they needed simple promotional materials. But as their vision grew, so did our work together. We’ve built more than just visuals, we’ve helped shape a message that speaks with clarity and conviction, about a topic that really matters.
From awareness campaigns to everyday communications, this identity reflects their mission—clear, dependable, and designed to stand out where it matters most. While the asbestos team operates across the UK, the online courses are delivered by trainers based in Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, and Sussex, bringing expertise and guidance to participants nationwide.
Asbestos isn’t something you can see, but the risks are real. AF wanted to raise awareness and protect lives, not just promote a service. That’s where design played its part.
We started with targeted leaflets and attention-grabbing social banners that reached local clients across the construction, education, and housing sectors. Then came a direct mail campaign, letters paired with tactile coasters and impactful postcards, all packaged in a beautifully branded envelope.
The goal? To land directly in the hands of people who need to know more, and take action.
When the company evolved, so did their identity.
They refreshed their name, and with that came a new visual presence. I helped AF unveil their new face to the world, from digital business cards to staff identity materials, updated leaflets, seasonal postcards, and bold roller banners.
Each asset was tailored to communicate trust, transparency, and professionalism, critical values for a business that operates in the Health and Safety space.
One of the most meaningful projects was AF’s free asbestos awareness course, launched in partnership with One Call.
It wasn’t about selling, it was about sharing knowledge.
We created a powerful leaflet inviting tradespeople, schools, universities, and local councils to join.
A roller banner and an informative A5 leaflet followed — designed to spark attention in high-traffic workplaces and guide people toward safer decisions.
This initiative showed how strong communication can truly serve the public. It was a campaign with impact — and a creative process with purpose.
I have been lucky to grow alongside AF, watching their brand mature while continuing to support their message.
Whether it's print marketing, editorial presence in local magazines, or digital graphics for LinkedIn — we have built a language of trust and visibility that helps their work reach the people who need it most.
This is what design should do — inform, empower, and evolve with the story.
“I have used KR Graphic Designs multiple times, and it’s always a pleasure working with them. They consistently bring great ideas to the table without costing the earth. I’d highly recommend them to anyone, whether you need a simple design or something more involved like a company brochure.”
